Systematics Section/ASPT Zuniga, Jose [1]. Sabiaceae: phylogeny, fossil record & divergence times. Sabiaceae-related endocarp fossils from Asia, Europe and North America will be reviewed, and their morphology will be discussed considering the features of endocarps from extant Sabiaceae species.
Results from preliminary divergence-time estimation analyses done with data from slow-evolving (rbcL, trnLF) and fast-evolving (ITS, psbA-trnH, rpl32-trnH) loci will be shown. All results will be discussed in light of previous estimates for this Sabiaceae derived from family-level dating studies. Broader Impacts:
